New to Ionian & Aegean Island Holidays for 2010 is the “Ekies All Senses Resort” located on a semi-private white sandy beach lapped by crystal clear calm waters surrounded by a lush conservation area of pine trees. The hotel has been renovated with a personal touch using nature and organic forms as its design ethos. A fine balance unites design pieces with a contemporary Greek appeal contributing to a bright playful, relaxed environment embodying calm and joy in equal measure.

Ekies offers its guest’s 64 rooms & suites all of various sizes and design. Each room or suite is completely unique, all furnished with the all-natural Coco-Mat collections. Most rooms & suites can accommodate more than two guests. Views from each room differs, some have pool views, others sea views or gardens views from large windows or private terraces.

The all-new spa studio has an ‘inside-outside’ concept, where even though guests have the privacy of a curtain surrounding them, they are in an open-air pod with natural light, fresh air and the soothing sounds of birds surrounding them. Three therapists offer a range of rejuvenating facials and massages as well as holistic therapies such as reflexology.

This is a pampering spa following the barefoot comfort, complete relaxation ethos of the Hotel.

Dining is completely flexible with an ‘eat anywhere-anytime’ attitude. There are five formal areas as well as the Kanata bar next to the sea: and the pool bar where natural juices are the signature drink. Of course, for the true romantics, there is a private table by the beach that can be laid for two (on request). If you want to venture further a field, local tavernas and restaurants can be found within walking distance of the hotel.

Halkidiki is made up of four parts, central Halkidiki, Athos, Kassandra and Sithonia and considered one of the most beautiful regions of Greece due to its lush topography, crystal clear sea and white washed beaches.
