Amongst the most delightful sights on Paxos are the beautifully proportioned traditional stone dwellings which
are dotted amongst the olive trees. The Olive Grove House is an extremely private and majestic house which
has been expertly restored to offer a high level of comfort and style. Encircled by stately olive trees, the house
is in an idyllic secluded position, yet only three minutes drive or twenty minutes walk from Loggos.
The Olive Grove House has four bedrooms, consisting of a double and a twin bedroom leading off the living
room, which also has a breakfast area just off the side. Steps lead down into the stone flagged floor of the
kitchen and down again to the main bathroom, a double bedroom and a single bedroom.
The villa has traditionally thick walls built out of local stone to ensure the house is cool inside even during the
height of summer. It is surrounded by olive trees which provide an abundance of natural shade around the
large stoned terrace.
The golden stonework outside contrasts perfectly with the deep green shutters and inside the stonework has
been charmingly exposed on the walls of the living room, the kitchen and even the bathroom. The wooden
floors of the light and spacious living room glow with a glossy sheen. This room is positioned facing directly out
to sea, which is partially visible through the silvery green leaves of the olive trees.
Loggos is a typically sleepy Greek fishing village, but with a fantastic choice of facilities covering everything you
may need from mini markets, four tavernas, a bakery, coffee bar and currency exchange to motor boat hire and
bike hire. There are also many white pebble beaches leading to the typically clear Ionian Sea.
A villa that quite simply provides relaxation, seclusion and a step back from the rush of modern life.
