blend of simplicity and sophistication, luxury and true Greek hospitality. Emelisse
is the third of the Tsimaras chain of Art Hotels boasting some of the finest quality
accommodation in the Ionian Islands. Arguably the best located of the relaxing
and stylish hotels, in its position on the idyllic peninsula north of Fiskardo.
The Tsimaras family have carefully planned all aspects of the hotel so as not to
detract from the stunning view of the rugged coastline and the Ithaka channel,
with clear blue waters stretching unobstructed as far as Lefkada. Elegantly
designed rooms with stylish and modern interiors have been created to cater to
a wide variety of guests.
Accommodation ranges from the stunningly placed executive rooms for two, to
the more spacious junior suites. The two bedroom family suites or maisonettes
for larger parties are ideal for those wishing to use the facilities of a hotel whilst
still enjoying the independence offered by self catered accommodation. Some of
the suites and rooms include the exclusive use of a smaller pool shared between
three suites or five rooms.
The hotel offers two restaurants, both with differing cuisines. Riza Mezedopoleio
is based on very traditional Greek delicacies and a selection of meze dishes. The
atmosphere is easy going and an ideal place to watch the sunset over a glass of
wine, or even a film from the comfortable sofas.
The Votsalo restaurant, one of the finest restaurants in Kefalonia, offers high
quality cuisine, imaginative dishes and an innovative style. Votsalo offers a la carte
menus with a mediterranean flavour, in a stunning atmospheric environment.
The fabulous Emblisi beach and the hotels large swimming pool perfect for hours
of lounging in the sunshine, making it easy to slip into long days of peaceful
relaxation at Emelisse. However, should guests wish to further enjoy the sights
of the island then we recommend hiring a car to explore the island. The hotel can
also arrange mountain bike hire for the more active visitors with a desire to get
out and about.
