of them. Manganos, on the main road as you head from the south to Fiskardo may seem a quiet small village,
but is in fact buzzing with activity. There is an excellent taverna serving mouth watering dishes, a traditional
kafenion where the locals play cards and backgammon, a well stocked mini market, a colourful greengrocers
selling freshly grown produce, a hardware shop, and even an old fashioned barbers. From
here a quiet country road winds past the pastel painted houses to more open slopes of old vine terraces, a
plateau of ancient field systems, oak woodland to a limitless horizon where sea and sky meet, made even more
memorable by the captivating sunsets. Pathways and quiet lanes lead out in all directions, a perfect location
for walking and exploring. The peace and tranquility is sublime yet cosmopolitan Fiskardo is only a ten minute
drive and it is just a leisurely stroll to the tavernas of Manganos.
