hero Bellerophon who rode him into battle against the fire breathing Khimaria. Later the hero attempted to
fly Pegasus to Mount Olympus to see the Gods. The Gods caused the horse to buck, throwing him back
to earth but Pegasus was allowed to continue his journey and given sanctuary on Mount Olympus carrying
thunderbolts for Zeus. Pegasus was not immortal and because of his faithful service on the last day of his life
Zeus transformed him into a constellation. Villa Pegasus, having its own unique character is a perfect place for
relaxing to become captivated with the islands charming qualities. A magnificent setting to gaze at the views
and the clear twinkling night sky constellations chosen by the Gods.
Located in an area known as Pefkias or pine forest, high on a hill above Skopelos town. The exterior and
interior walls have been painted in bright primary colours, a technique used for decoration of buildings in
ancient Athens, the striking effect complementing the natural surroundings. Great care has been taken in the
smallest of details such as intricate hand painted tiles. Villa Pegasus enjoys stunning views down towards
Skopelos Bay and the Aegean Sea beyond. Built next door to Kentavros, the villas are separated by a high
traditional stone wall. Pegasus has a broad terrace and its own access, ensuring privacy. There is, however a
gate in this wall, to allow a larger family group or friends to take both villas.
Pegasus has its own private swimming pool and sun terrace. The terrace in front of the villa is the perfect place
for just sitting and taking in the view. With the pine woods on both sides and olives below there is a real feeling
of peace and seclusion here. Pegasus has its own built in BBQ. The interior of the villa is simplicity itself. An
open plan living/dining room leads through to a small but well equipped kitchen at one end. The atmosphere is
one of comfortable intimacy. Pegasus is built on two levels and has its double bedroom upstairs to fully absorb
the best of views across the lush green pine forest towards the sea.
