The Greek Islands have to be one of the best kept romantic secrets in the world. Homer knew it nearly three thousand years ago. One of the greatest adventure stories of all time has, at its heart, a warrior king’s journey back to Ithaka and the woman he loves.

Today’s islands, with so much natural beauty and so little commercial development, are the perfect setting for a romantic holiday. Secluded cottages, hidden bays of white pebbles and an azure sea. Ancient olive trees standing alone with nothing but the setting sun before you. These are all real pictures far beyond the scope of any postcard.

Where to get married? In Greece the wedding ceremony can take place anywhere, (apart from a Greek orthodox church), from a spectacular cliff top, a beautiful beach, your villa or hotel to even your local taverna. Most of our weddings take place in Fiskardo on Kefalonia, but we can offer other destinations on request. Legalisation of the wedding must however take place in a municipal building. We can make every arrangement - flights, guest accommodation, cars, reception, all the official bits, right down to the wedding cake, hairdresser and the flowers.

Your civil wedding can be as elaborate or as low key as you want it to be. Whether for a small, intimate occasion with bride, groom, a few friends and family or a hundred guests or more. All staying in our exclusive Ionian and Aegean Island Holidays accommodation of course! (We do however require a minimum of ten guests booking with us to organise the wedding)
