To make the most of this fantastic outlook, Talenti’s House has been designed ‘upside down’ so that the living space is upstairs to lend height to the view, whilst the bedrooms are below. Even falling asleep at Talenti’s is a magical experience with the waves lapping just beyond the window.

An added advantage of this unusual layout is that access from outside is either directly into the living room, via a small patio, or through another door into the kitchen, which has its own opening onto the sea-facing terrace. The L-shaped living room also opens onto this terrace, which is partly shaded and continues round to a spacious area for sunbathing. An internal staircase leads down to two of the three bedrooms, the shared balcony and main bathroom. The third bedroom with its own WC and basin is accessed via the balcony.

There is an old boathouse at sea level, hung with nets and a huge oak wine-barrel. This is a lovely place to spend quiet moments by the water’s edge. Naturally, there is swimming on the doorstep. If you hire a motor boat it can be moored on the little jetty during the day.
