The small beach at Loutsa, still guarded by the Venetian cannons on the headland above, is a short stroll of less than ten minutes. For the more energetic the old hill village of Paleochori, with its frescoed churches and chapels and the Homeric sites of Artheusa's Springs, are all accessible by well-marked trails.
