Situated on the most beautiful side of Corfu, the north east coast, Agni, is as famous for its excellent waterside tavernas as its location. With mature olive groves that line either side of the bay, this area has seen very little change over the last one hundred years. Agni literally translates as ‘unspoilt’ in Greek and this describes the bay perfectly. Accessed by a narrow and winding road, the drive is worth the effort as the bay is beautiful, with crystal clear waters surrounded by olive and cypress trees, the atmosphere in Agni is as blissfully peaceful.

Nearby is the chapel mentioned by Laurence Durrell in ‘Prospero’s Cell’. Below is a small underwater cave for the more adventurous snorklers and swimmers. The next small bay to Agni is Yaliskari, it is completely undeveloped, has excellent swimming and even rock diving cliffs. Overlooking all this beauty, built up a steep incline on the hillside above Agni amongst the cypress and olive trees, one can find the sensational Villa Agni- Stefania. It has a commanding position with breathtaking views across the bay and the northern Ionian Sea to the Albanian mountains in the distance.

The villa consists of three bedrooms on two floors. An open staircase leads up to the spacious master bedroom with sofa, double bed, en suite bathroom and two balconies with the most fantastic views of the bay. On the ground floor is an open plan living, dining room with fireplace and fully equipped kitchen accessing the front terrace and the splendid views. Off the living room you will find two twin bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms and private terraces. To the side of the villa is a spacious sun terrace, swimming pool and BBQ, fantastically blended into the natural environment, with as many personal touches and attention to detail as the quality of the interior of the villa. The villa is located just six hundred metres from the pebbly beach at Agni with its fantastic sea food tavernas. The walk is on a sharp incline so we do feel that this is not suitable for those with walking difficulties although only a two minute drive.
