Nissaki is a small village that means little island, with its small shingle cove and tavernas, it still has the same
sense of peace now as ten years ago. On the hillside above Nissaki proudly sits Villa Elena.
Elena is reached from the main coastal road by a three minute drive up the hillside. Built on a steep hillside,
this ensures not only privacy but views from each of the rooms are spectacular and maximised by the modern
design being built over several levels. Facing south east Villa Elena, built by a local family, grandly stands
above Villa Antigone and the fabulous view beyond the blue flag beach at Barbati across Corfus fascinating
coastline towards the distant mountains of the Epiros mainland. The villa is ideal for a large family or group
of friends with its four bedrooms and spacious living areas. The villa was originally designed to be a second
home with its unusual design to provide different living areas all with excellent and attractive furnishings and
impressive views from the various terraces and balconies.
The villa leads into a large atrium style living room with a feature fireplace, which expands out
onto a large covered terrace perfect for breakfast dining and avoiding the midday sun during lunch, this in
turn leads to an open terrace, all taking in those spectacular views. On the same level is a twin bedroom and
adjacent shower room. A few steps lead to a split level dining room and a well equipped kitchen. Just down from
this level is the open sun terrace and swimming pool, again its views benefitting from the elevated position. The
first floor consists of a master double bedroom with en suite bathroom then further up to a mezzanine floor to
a two twin bedrooms sharing an additional bathroom.
Villa Elena is an excellent large villa taking in the peace and quiet of Corfus north eastern coastline with some
of the best views on the island and a fantastic location to explore the delights of Corfu.
Villa Elena has numerous steps therefore may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties.
