Motorboat Hire

One of the delights of a holiday in the Greek Islands is the sea. There are very few places where one cannot see the changing blues and greens or hear the waves lapping against the shore.

There is something very special about discovering hidden coves and empty bays in your own boat. The boats are easy to handle and before you know it, you will be your own skipper for a day on a voyage of discovery through some of the most beautiful coastal scenery in Greece.

In high summer it is advisable to book ahead. The boats are new and well maintained. You can choose either 15HP, for that gentle potter along the coast, or 25 - 30HP, with or without a central steering wheel, with a map to help you explore just that little bit further.

The minimum pre-booked hire period for 3 consecutive days. We regret that we are not able to refund days that are lost due to bad weather.

The price for each boat includes the provision of buoyancy aids, flares, oars, anchors and a sun canopy. Detailed instructions for operation and mooring and full local back-up service are also provided. Fuel is not included.

However, when you hire a motor boat you are obliged to adhere to local laws which prevent them from venturing into exposed areas or going to sea in adverse weather conditions. The local agent will explain the parameters of your sailing area.

The agent will require the boat to be returned to designated harbour or quay by approximately 5pm, this requirement is both for your own safety and that of the boats.

At the Pounda Paou on the Pelion, it is possible to moor the motor boats at the apartments jetty for the full duration of the hire without having to return the boat nightly.
