As Skiathos' most renowned beach, it naturally attracts the largest crowds. Stretching for a kilometre, it boasts incredibly fine white sand and is flanked by a fragrant pine forest, lending it its name. 

Often hailed as the most pristine natural beach in the Mediterranean, it enjoys protected status. The crystal-clear, deep blue waters are a sheer delight, while the beach itself is well-equipped with water sports, loungers, parasols and beach bars. 

Surrounding the beach are numerous restaurants, tavernas and hotels, catering to visitors' needs. A local bus service operates every 30 minutes, connecting the beach to the capital. Adjacent to the beach lies a biotope within the pine forest, safeguarding various plant and bird species.

This large, golden sandy beach is named after the little church of Agia Paraskevi (Saint Friday) and offers various amenities such as tavernas for dining, water sport facilities including water-skiing and jet skiing as well as motorboat hire. 

It's a popular destination for visitors looking to enjoy the sun, sea and recreational activities on the island.

Located just 2km from the capital sitting snugly within a small cove. This sandy shoreline comes fully equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas and a cosy cantina/taverna. Its crystal-clear waters cater to a variety of water sports enthusiasts, with options to rent windsurfs and water skis readily available. 

Accessible by foot, car, local bus or regular boat services departing from Skiathos town, this beach offers convenience and relaxation for all to enjoy.

Lalaria Beach

Reached only by boat Lalaria beach is a stunning white pebble beach surrounded by crystalline waters. While there are no facilities here, its natural beauty more than compensates for any amenities.

The cliffs at the right-hand end of the beach showcase intricate formations sculpted by wind and sea erosion, including a striking stack and arch.

Kolios Beach is a popular destination for both locals and tourists seeking a peaceful seaside escape.

Banana Beach

Another track from Koukounaries continues further south and splits in two: one leads to the sandy cove called Banana, because of its shape. It is fully equipped with sunbeds, parasols and a cantina/taverna and offers a wide range of water sports. The other end of the dirt road continues up to the little bay called ‘Little Banana’, a nudist beach separated from Banana Beach by a huge rock. It is smaller and quieter than its neighbour, with fine sand and crystalline waters.
