The bedrooms are on the ground floors, along with a separate shower room and WC. The upper floors contain an open plan living/dining area and well-equipped kitchenette and there is a second shower room and WC. Location
"Peparethos, rich in grapes and wine," penned Sophocles, the eminent playwright of Ancient Greece, over two millennia ago. Renamed from Peparethos to Staphylos, then to Skopelos, the connection to its grape-rich heritage endures, notably in the picturesque village of Stafilos overlooking its eponymous beach and bay. Framed by lush Aleppo pine forests and olive groves, the view extends to the azure Aegean Sea. Stafilos serves as an ideal launchpad for exploring the island's myriad beaches and villages. Perched on a steep hillside, the village exudes traditional charm, accentuated by the Venetian fortress towering behind.
Nearby attractions such as Skopelos Town and Glossa offer glimpses into the island's rich history. The rugged coastline invites leisurely exploration, while the fertile inland, adorned with orchards and unique fauna, beckons adventurers on foot, bicycle, or by car. Indulge in local delicacies like goat's feta cheese and plum jam, complemented by island wine—a feast befitting Sophocles himself, albeit enjoyed alongside a private swimming pool, a modern luxury.
