If you can tear yourself away from the Assos Hills Villas, a twelve-minute stroll downhill brings you to the charming village of Assos, with its Venetian cliff-top fortress and tiny coves. It remains a small, traditional settlement, with around one hundred permanent inhabitants who are extremely welcoming. It’s one of the prettiest colourful villages on the island with winding paths and tavernas perched on the quayside serving the catch of the day, all creating a friendly ambience of bygone era. Add to this a delightful town beach, perfect for sea swimming enthusiasts, cafes and mini markets to stock up on supplies. The stunning world famous Myrtos Beach is only a short drive away as is the charming harbour of Fiskardo.
