The villa is named after the sea nymph, Hariklo, who, according to Greek mythology, was the devoted wife of Chiron the Centaur, famous for his legendary knowledge and healing arts. Just as Hariklo herself would have done, this attractive two bedroom bungalow gazes out across the azure sea. The beautiful patio enters into the open plan living room. The fully equipped kitchen has been designed to take the chore out of holiday catering. Two fabulously appointed bedrooms, a double and twin bedroom plus a shower room complete this stylish villa's accommodation.
Hariklo has superb outdoor living features, including a shaded area for al fresco dining and terrific panoramic views towards the Pagasitic Gulf. As you enter Afissos, passing its quaint fishing harbor and meandering through the village's lengthy seafront, you'll reach a shaded square adorned with a charming church at the village's core. Here lies the heart of this picturesque locale, where you can savour some of the finest local cuisine at the dozen or so restaurants lining the seafront. Unspoiled cafes, a traditional bakery and mini-markets cater to your daily needs. Afissos is renowned for its crystal-clear seas and stunning beaches, with mythological ties to Jason and his Argonauts, who purportedly stopped here for fresh water before their legendary quest for the Golden Fleece. The village takes pride in its legendary status, celebrating with the 'Argonauticos' shows and festivities throughout the summer. Just three hundred metres away lie two pebble beaches, Lagoudi and Abovos, along with the blue flag beach of Kalifteri, boasting a mix of sand and shingle. These beaches offer an array of water sports during peak season and picturesque coastal walks.
