Airline Seats & Check-in

Airline Booking Reference:

In some cases, you might need the airline’s booking reference to pre-book any specific seats you may require*.

Auto-Allocation of Seats: 

If you do not pre-book selected seats, seats will automatically be assigned to you. You and your party will be assigned to sit together where possible, but please note that this cannot be guaranteed and may prove more challenging during peak season and for last minute bookings.

Airport Assistance:

Please ensure that you inform us of any additional assistance you may require at the airports, so that we may request special assistance for you. This request must be made at least 14 days prior to your departure.

Flight Only:

We are able to offer a limited number of flight-only seats direct to Kefalonia, Preveza and Corfu. Please contact our UK office on 020 8459 0777 for further details.

To access your flights:
- Visit the EasyJet website.
- Select ‘Find Booking’ on the pop-up (make sure you are NOT signed into your EasyJet account, if you have one).
- Enter your surname.
- Enter your EasyJet airline reference (a 7-digit code starting with ‘K’ in red on your Travel documents).

To prebook seats:
- Access your flights and view aircraft seating to choose and prebook seats (payable directly to the airline), otherwise seats will be allocated automatically, usually in pairs on check-in (depending on availability).

Check-in & boarding pass:
- Check-in opens 30 days and closes 2 hours before departure.
- Access your flights, add your passport details (Additional Passport Information).
- Download and/or print out your boarding passes. 

Luggage allowance: 23kg hold & one small under seat cabin bag (max 45 x 36 x 20 cm)

 

For flights from London Heathrow to Kefalonia (EFL) and Preveza (PVK):

Automatic Seat Assignment: 
- Seats are automatically assigned 7 days prior to departure due to a group allocation system.  
- For clients with BA Club card membership, this can be added to your booking so you may continue accruing your AVIOS points.
- If you have any specific seating preferences or need assistance with anything else, feel free to ask. 

Check-in & Boarding Pass: Check-in at the airport either at the Self-Check or at the British Airways desk.

Luggage Allowance: 23kg hold & 10kg hand baggage (max 55 x 40 x 23cm)

 

To prebook seats:
- Click to visit Fly Extras.
- Select ‘Ionian Island Holidays’ from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your Ionian Holiday Booking number
- Select the number of passengers travelling, your flights and travel dates from the drop-down menus.
- View aircraft seating to choose and prebook seats (payable directly to the airline), otherwise seats will be allocated automatically, usually in pairs on check-in (depending on availability).

Check-in & boarding pass: Check-in at the airport at the Enter Air desk only.

Luggage Allowance: 20kg hold & 5kg hand baggage (max 55 x 40 x 20cm)

 

To prebook seats:
- Click to visit Flight Extras.
- Enter your 8-digit airline reference.
- Enter the surname of the lead passenger.
- Enter your departure date.
- View aircraft seating to choose and prebook seats (payable directly to the airline), otherwise seats will be allocated automatically, usually in pairs on check-in (depending on availability).

Check-in & boarding pass:
- For prebooked seats: online check-in opens 14-days prior to departure.
- With no prebooked seats: online check-in opens 48-hours prior to departure.
- Online check-in closes 6-hours prior to departure.
- You must check-in separately for outbound & inbound flights
- Print out your boarding passes (A copy is sent to our flight department who can forward them on if required (a copy is sent to our flight department who can forward them on if required).

To access your flights without airline reference:
- Visit the Ionian Jet2 website.
- Enter your surname
- Enter your Ionian Holiday Booking number

To access your flights - with a 6-digit reference number starting with ‘3’: 
- Visit the Jet2 website.
- Select ‘Manage My Booking’
- Enter your Jet2 airline reference (a 6-digit code starting with ‘3’ in red on your Travel documents).
- Enter your surname
- Enter the departure date of the flight in question.

To prebook seats: Access your flights and view aircraft seating to choose and prebook seats (payable directly to the airline), otherwise seats will be allocated automatically, usually in pairs on check-in (depending on availability).

Check-in & boarding pass:
- Check-in opens 30 days and closes up to 6 hours before departure.
- Access your flights, add your passport details (Additional Passport Information).
- Download and/or print out your boarding passes. 

Alternatively, you may check-in at the airport.

Luggage allowance: 22kg hold & 10kg hand baggage (max 56cm x 45cm x 25cm)
