In a typically tranquil spot overlooking the emerald Ionian Sea on Corfu’s west coast is our charming Villa Armonia, a two-bedroom villa with its own pool delighting its guests with spectacular sea views and captivating sunsets.

Designed in characteristically Corfu style, Villa Armonia offers its guests two comfortable bedrooms, a welcoming living space and pretty grounds hosting a pool with exceptional sea views. On the ground floor is a spacious tastefully furnished lounge/dining area with large doors opening out onto a fabulous pool terrace and those spectacular views. There is also a full bathroom with jacuzzi. The upper floor is where we find the bedrooms - one spacious master suite with its own balcony with exceptional views and one twin room with balcony doors that open onto a small patio at the back of the villa with a mountain view. Upstairs bathroom with shower.

The exterior of Villa Armonia offers its guests a tranquil setting in natural surrounds. Gorgeous terraces host a good size pool, sunbeds and umbrellas for shade from the midday sun. Dining alfresco is truly a pleasure here, the master chef of the family can rustle up a culinary delight on the built-in brick BBQ and served under the shelter of the fixed pergola.

Ideally located, Villa Armonia is just a five-minute walk downhill to the pretty sandy beach at Paramonas with its crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming anytime of the day and the ideal spot for catching magnificent sunsets. Close to the property and again in walking distance are a couple of tavernas serving local cuisine, perfect for those who don’t want to drive.

Corfu is a captivating island with so much to see and do. If you fancy a bit of exploring, then this Ionian Island is for you. Historical palaces, museums, designer shopping are some of the local attractions or how about Sunday afternoon Cricket on the square in Corfu Town, there really is something for everyone. For the youngsters in the party and of particular interest to the children will be a fun filled day at Aqualand (a water theme park). For the more adventurous why not take a walk on one of the countryside trails, sightsee on the Big Red Bus open top city tour, play a round of golf, enjoy water sports on one of the many fabulous beaches or take a trip to see the actual Durrell’s White House. The choice is yours!  If all this seems a tad too much on your holiday, then head back to the seclusion and calm of your villa for some gentle relaxation.
