The villa’s location is simply excellent and couldn’t be more central to Lefkada Town with all its amenities. A gentle 25minute stroll brings you into the centre with its pretty maze of narrow streets, a superb choice of tavernas, trendy bars and cafes. There are lots of boutiques selling local hand-made products and gift shops to purchase that holiday souvenir or simply a present to yourself as a memory of your fabulous time here. Take a 15minute walk in the opposite direction and you arrive at the sandy beach of Agios Ioannis, it’s a haven for water sports enthusiasts where you can wind or kite surf, not to mention great swimming in the emerald waters of the Ionian Sea, the choice is yours!  Other beaches are of course available and are as equally as spectacular as Agios Ioannis.

There’s so much to explore here on this fascinating Ionian Island. Windmills, Museums, Castles and if you cross over the causeway you can discover the mainland’s beautiful inland traditional villages as well as the popular seaside resort of Parga, with its unspoilt stunning coastline, it’s all here and accessible from the lovely Villa Maria.
