Villa Marina

On Ithaka everything has its place. Even mighty Odysseus has to take his turn in everyday life. Kioni is a perfect example. Elegant houses and tavernas line a beautiful small harbour, a favourite port of call for any cruising yachtsman, whilst every morning the fishing boats thread their way past the mooring lines and anchor chains. Climb the hill above the village to the hamlet of Raki and farming takes pride of place.

All this gives the island its unique atmosphere. This villa, built into the steep hillside at the top of the village, has been sensitively designed to blend in with the older houses around. The view from the verandah and pool terraces is suitably spectacular, out across the sea to Arkoudi Island and the White Mountains of Lefkada.

You enter the spacious living area with kitchen. French windows open onto a verandah facing out to sea, with steps leading down to the pool area. The main double bedroom with its en-suite shower room bathroom also has French windows leading out onto the verandah. On this floor is a further double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Stairs lead up to the third bedroom which is a twin with en-suite bathroom with bath, timber beams and panelled wooden ceiling and skylight.

This wonderfully situated villa is ideally located for a relaxing holiday close to amenities.

Villa Marina is approached by a narrow track with steps leading down from the parking area to the villa.

NB: Due to the design of the villa we do not consider it suitable for children under 10 yrs or people with limited mobility.
