A comfortable family villa in a beautiful setting close to Lefkas Town and overlooking the fishing village of Ligia.

Ligia, a small fishing village near the island’s capital Lefkas Town is an excellent base for a family holiday. The island is renowned for its safe, sheltered bays and beaches along the island’s east coast, unspoilt hills and valleys of the Epiros coast, traditional villages and monastaries in the White Mountains and narrow streets boasting the unique architecture of Lefkas Town itself. All these can be found on Lefkada and all within easy driving distance from Villa Sunrise.

Built to a very high standard, Villa Sunrise overlooks Ligia and the inner Ionian Sea is well-named although the choice of rising early from one's comfortable bed to experience the spectacular dawns may be a little difficult, but well worth it. Staying at home is equally attractive; the interior of the villa is cool and spacious with the main bedrooms two doubles and a twin on the ground floor each with a spacious terrace opening out to the delightful gardens the private swimming pool and barbeque area. The single room is located on the upper level.

Ligia village itself is a five minute stroll downhill where you will find a choice of quayside tavernas, specialising in fresh locally caught fish, and for the young at heart the cosmopolitan town of Nidri is well worth a visit, as are the shores of the very sheltered Vlichos Bay, all of which can be found within easy driving distance of Villa Sunrise.

Keeping everyone happy and entertained can be a challenge, but one that the delightful Villa Sunrise can take in its stride.
