Athens - Athina gave the world of mortals her most precious gift, an olive tree on the summit of a rock overlooking the Saronic Gulf. From its mythical roots sprung not just a civilisation and a city with no parallel in the ancient world, but an idea that has spread through the ages, democracy. Santorini is breathtakingly beautiful, unashamably sophisticated and completely unique, with its white washed houses incredible landscape and one of the most spectacular sunsets in the Aegean. Armageddon came to Santorini over 3,500 years ago, when the island was destroyed by a huge volcanic eruption, wiping out its population and beginning the end of the Minoan Civilisation. Mykonos - Popular, sophisticated, an Oscar winning film set and the subject of a thousand postcards. Mykonos is all of these, but at its heart is the simplicity of two colours, blue and white, the essence of the Aegean. The contrast between the white of the immaculate houses, churches and the famous windmills and the blue of sea and sky is the enduring image. The Pelion Peninsula is a landscape where it is easy to see the connection between myth and historical fact. It only takes five minutes on one of the many ancient paths or ‘kalderimia’, that still link the isolated communities of these majestic mountain forests, to recognise many of the herbs and plants, used medicinally by the ancients, as well as the centaurs, growing in profusion amongst the trees. Skiathos is a microcosm of a Greek Island and the smallest of the three inhabited islands in the northern Sporades Islands. The islands stunning coastline is made up of rocky headlands covered in pine trees and olive groves, punctuated by one sandy beach after another. Alonissos is the most peaceful and least developed of the three inhabited islands in the northern Sporades. Alonnisos is the haven we all dream about when life and work become too stressful, yet it is only two hours from Skiathos international airport. Skopelos - The Island of Reefs because of its offshore islets and rocks and magnificent craggy coastline. Secluded bays fringed by its famous pine forests and olive groves, it could also be called the Green Island. Skopelos is remarkably undeveloped with networks of traditional paths and tracks joining scattered settlements.The islands eponymous capital is a bustling port on a spectacular bay with a maze of narrow streets linking tavernas and churches. Shore to Sail - A week flotilla sailing in the Ionian Sea is a wonderful experience, with a constantly changing perspective of islands, picturesque harbours, supportive lead crews, and modern, well-equipped yachts. On land in the Ionian Islands can also be a magical experience, watching the sun and sails across the sea, scents of wild thyme, the warm welcome of a country taverna, and beautiful beaches, it is the perfect way to relax in an idyllic environment. Corfu (Kerkyra) - Fertile and blessed with a perfect climate, with fascinating archeological remains, the island is a unique blend of ancient myth, classical architecture and a vibrant culture as well as being the ‘emerald isle’ of the Ionian. Paxos (Paxi) - The smallest of the seven Ionian Islands, it becomes easy to lose oneself in a network of country lanes, olive groves and old mule paths. Our villas with pools cover most of the island around Lakka, Magazia, Loggos and Gaios. Epiros Coastline - This is a coastline of dramatic headlands, sheltered bays, narrow treelined inlets, hamlets tucked into the folds of green hills which rise steeply out of the Ionian Sea. We operate to Sivota on the mainland and more specifically the Ag Meganisi (Meganissi) - One Ionian island where time really does seem to stand still, quiet solitude in Meganisi’s lonely bays and traffic free lanes. Our two properties on Meganisi vary from self catered villas near Vathi to the family run Meganisi Lefkada (Lefkas) - The white island, dramatic sea cliffs, magnificent beaches of the west coast, across the rugged peaks of the interior mountains and down through fertile, stream fed valleys to the gentler east coast with its wooded bays and quiet creeks Ithaka (Ithaki) - Sixth largest of the seven Ionian islands, two mountains joined by a narrow ridge, rugged in the west, with a more gentle and fertile eastern shore, indented with bays and sheltered harbours. Our villas, apartments and hotels are located Kefalonia (Cephalonia) - Beautiful and mountainous island, and the largest in the Ionian. Our villas and apartments are in the north of the island around the villages of Fiskardo (Fiscardo) and Assos. We also use the luxury Emelisse Art Hotel near Fiskard
