This modern and extremely comfortable apartment hotel is conveniently positioned close to the sea front on a
quiet road that eventually winds its way up the mountain. The picturesque centre of old Skopelos Town and its
lively harbour front are an easy fifteen minute stroll away along the sea front promenade. Skopelos Village feels
pleasantly removed from the bustle of the town centre. The apartments and suites are divided between several
small, two storey buildings that are enclosed in the villages extensive lawns and gardens.
The public areas of the complex have been recently transformed, with the addition of a second swimming pool,
new reception, comfortable lounge and internet facilities. The restaurant and bar having been redesigned now
opens out onto the original swimming pool.
The buildings reflect the traditional architecture of Skopelos and each apartment has either one or two bedrooms
(a double bed can be requested but not guaranteed) and its own terrace or balcony, all with at least a side view
of the sea. Handsome floor tiles and lovely light curtain fabrics add a homely feel. Breakfast is available in the
bar and lounge area with the wonderful restaurant Agioli serving excellent evening meals.
Keen walkers have plenty of rewarding terrain as the main footpath literally runs from the doorstep all the way
up to Mount Palouki and its famous monasteries. Or if you prefer your exercise closer at hand, hotel guests
can use the adjacent tennis courts for a small fee. All the local bus routes originate in Skopelos Town, making
it possible to explore much of the island without the need to hire a car. However, if a car is desired our agents
based in Skopelos Town will be happy to arrange one. Boat tours travel to Alonissos and around
the islands beaches, including the smaller islands of the Marine Park.
Skopelos Village is a delightful haven within perfect walking distance to the harbour front. A fantastically located
accommodation which had the honour of hosting the cast of the 2008 smash hit film Mamma Mia, when they
were filming on Skopelos.
