Villa Alas sits in the middle of a trio of brand-new properties perched on the hillside close to  the beautiful beach at Limonari with stunning views across the bay. Villa Alas’s stone exterior has been designed with your ultimate relaxation in mind, the good-sized pool is surrounded by comfortable sunbeds ideally placed to take in the wonderful views – you could stay all day and let time drift by gracefully in this haven of calm. For BBQ fans, you’ll enjoy grilling local produce like fish, meat and vegetables all prepared in a fabulous setting in the outdoor kitchen. Dine alfresco, breakfast, lunch under shade or long suppers beneath the stars searching for the Milky Way! If sea swimming is your preference, a short stroll will bring you to the breathtaking beach at Limonari with its stark white pebbles and turquoise waters, so inviting its hard to resist a dip any time of the day.  

The nearest village is Katomeri, typically Greek with traditional architecture and very friendly locals! You’ll find a few tavernas, bakery and a mini market to stock up on supplies. Head on further downhill and you arrive in the port of Vathy with its yacht filled harbour, a good choice of tavernas, bars and shops.

Meganisi, really is like stepping back in time, it hasn’t changed much over the decades with its rugged landscape and exquisite scenery along with age-old mule trails that criss-cross the island perfect for walking and exploring. The welcome from the islanders hasn’t changed much either, they really love nothing more than to show off their island to anyone who comes here.  Try a little Greek and you’ll make friends for life!
