Life on Meganisi hasn’t changed much over the decades and it pretty much potters along as it’s done for centuries.  You won’t find bustling resorts here just three pretty villages Vathy, Katomeri & Spartahori, each with its own warm welcome from the islanders.  You’ll find a splendid coastline totally unspoilt, dotted with pristine white beaches, some accessible only by boat. Inland, your closest hamlet is Katomeri with a few tavernas, bakery and mini market for daily supplies. From Katomeri, the rolling hills make for wonderful walking country, with shady pine forests and spectacular blue seas beyond.
