You’ll also find a mini market for supplies and a bakery perfect for picking up a breakfast loaf or cheese pies for brunch.

Vathy, the islands busy capital, is just 10 minutes drive away, with its waterside tavernas, trendy cafes, bars, boutiques and souvenir shops to bring back local handmade gifts as a memento of your stay.  Ithaka has some exquisite beaches and divine swimming waters and just a 10 minute drive from the villa is the pretty Kaminia beach or further along the coast are the stunning beaches of Filatro and Dexia. Head north and discover the popular inland village of Stavros with its mansion houses or the pretty waterside villages of Frikes and Kioni, stop for a meze in one their fabulous waterside tavernas, you won’t be disappointed. Visit Rizes Cave, the Monastery of Kathera or the Naval & Folklore Museum in Vathy, the choices on this magical of Ionian islands are endless.
